Our own label
What Sterling Sewn means.
Sterling Sewn is the label we built from decades of fitting customers at Giorgio Men’s Wear. It comes in two lines.
- Heritage Collection, $499–$550: 100% Italian wool from the Zignone, Marlane and Marzotto mills, with half-canvas construction. A layer of canvas runs through the chest and lapels, so the front keeps its shape and settles to your build as you wear it.
- Core suits, from $199: our own fabrics, custom-woven and color-dyed to our standards, with fused construction for a light, clean front. The poly-rayon or poly-viscose blend includes spandex, so the suit stretches with you through a long day.
Core 2-piece and 3-piece suits come in Modern and Slim fits. Heritage suits come in a trim fit. Jackets come in Short, Regular and Long, and pants arrive unhemmed for your tailor.
How a Sterling Sewn suit comes together.
01 · Fabric
Heritage suits are cut from 100% Italian wool woven by Zignone, Marlane and Marzotto. Core suits use our own custom-woven, color-dyed stretch fabrics, produced to our specifications. Each product page lists the exact fabric.
02 · Construction
We oversee production through long-standing manufacturing relationships. Heritage jackets are half-canvassed for shape that lasts. Core jackets are fused, which keeps them lightweight and easy to care for.
03 · Sizing you can check
Our size chart maps your chest, waist and height to our sizes. On core 2-piece suits, you can pair a pant waist 4 to 10 inches below the jacket. Short fits up to 5′7″, Regular 5′8″–6′0″ and Long 6′1″ and up.
